Job Summary

Responsible for supporting the Project Engineer in the installation, inspection, testing, startup, and maintenance of systems and equipment within the Data Center, with a focus on Electrical and Mechanical systems, including Generator Systems. The position will work closely with the Project Engineer and Support teams and assist in analyzing and resolving technical issues on-site

Responsibilities :

  • Support the Project Engineer in the installation, inspection, and testing of project systems.

  • Inspect, maintain, and ensure machinery, tools, and equipment are in good working condition.

  • Perform Startup, Testing, and Commissioning of generators and related equipment.

  • Inspect and troubleshoot system and equipment issues on-site.

  • Analyze the root causes of technical problems and perform initial corrective actions effectively.

  • Work closely with the Project Engineer, Support team, and other relevant teams.

  • Properly and safely use tools and equipment for maintenance and system inspection.

  • Record inspection, maintenance, and work results as assigned.

  • Follow work procedures, engineering standards, and safety requirements.

  • Support other project-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications :

Specific Qualifications – Mechanical Technician

  • Knowledge and experience in mechanical systems and related equipment.

  • Understanding of machinery and mechanical equipment operations.

  • Experience with Generator / Engine / Cooling Systems or Data Center mechanical systems will be an advantage.

  • Ability to inspect, analyze, and troubleshoot mechanical issues.

 

General Qualifications

  • Male, approximately 30–40 years old.

  • Diploma (Vocational Certificate) or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience in installation, maintenance, or technical support.

  • Good skills in using technical tools and equipment.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and coordinate with the Project Engineer and Support teams.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in on-site situations.

  • Willing and able to work on-site / at Data Center locations and according to the project schedule.
